Clothing Condition Policy

Our inventory consists of thousands of pre loved clothes ranging from brand spanking new to signs of wear. In order to assist you in deciding if an item is something you would like to buy we've notated the condition from New With Tag to Signs Of Wear. Do not disregard Signs Of Wear, remember your young ones will be rolling around and getting into messy things. You do not want to put them in brand new expensive clothes in those situations and we have the answer for it.

We understand that the ideal situation is to get the clothes and wear them. You don't want to be bothered with odors, cleanable stains, inspecting them for bugs, and needing to clean them. You want to treat clothes you buy from us like clothes you buy brand new out of a retail store. That is why with a few exceptions, unlike other pre wear stores, we wash the clothes in our inventory. We only use stage 1 newborn detergent in cold water and low heat dry to try and insure what you receive should not have any adverse affect to your baby's skin. We want to make sure you get clean clothes. All images are taking after the wash. The only exceptions to this wash rule are new with and without tag clothes, knitted clothes, dry clean only, and shoes.

Our products are inspected, labeled, and tagged by our merchandise experts without assistance from the manufacturers and are completely objective and within the perspective of our experts in view of condition, description, and anything related to the article of clothing and/or product.

New With Tags (NWT) - tags from the original retailer are attached, item has never been used/worn and is free of defects.

New No Tags (NNT) - tags from the original retailer have been removed but item has never been used/worn/altered or washed and is free of defects.

Excellent Condition (EC) - item may have been lightly used/worn with no signs of wear, fading, defects which includes pilling, or other defects. Looks new.

Very Good Condition (VGC) - item has been lightly used/worn and has may have LIGHT wash wear (color fading and/or pilling) in clothing/textiles, minor scuffs from light wear on soles of shoes.

Good Condition (GC) - item has been used/worn and may have MODERATE wash wear (color fading and/or pilling), minor stains (barely visible to the naked eye), scuffs throughout and visible heel wear on soles of shoes. Writing of any kind on both clothing/textiles and shoes.

Signs Of Use (SU) - item has been used/worn and may have heavy wash wear (color fade/pilling), heavy pilling, shrinkage, tiny holes no bigger than 3mm, light stains (visible to the naked eye), major scuffs, scratches, stains, heavy wear on soles. Writing of any kind on both clothing/textiles and shoes.

NOTE: Writing on the clothing tag is not taken into consideration for the condition of the clothes.

NOTE: Half shoe sizes are rounded up to the next whole number on the listed specifications, when this is done the actual size will be listed in the main description.

Here's what you can be confident in. No item, even Signs Of Use will have "major" defects. They will not have holes larger that a few mm, tears, large clear and visible stains, missing essential pieces (buttons, velcro, zippers, snaps, clasps).
